not uber happy

I've been working on the baby's room all weekend. Yesterday Robert Ortega who is a really great friend came over and helped me get the electrical work ready for a new ceiling fan. Basically he did all the work and I assisted. I'm truly lucky to have him as a friend. Another friend was supposed to come over and help me lay a new laminate floor in that room. He ended up calling in sick basically and said he'd be here today instead..so far not so good. No help for me today. So I'm going to make the best of it and keep plugging away at what I can do by myself. I'll be scraping off more wallpaper boarder, patching walls, Maybe paint some moldings.....fun and games. It will be worth it to see Jenn happy that our son has a place of his own..

Ok so this is going to be fun. I've never been a true blogger so this is new. The intent of this blog is to document my thoughts, my family, and science experiments.
